About Wilson Dental Pc
Wilson Dental Pc is a dental clinic in Syracuse, New York. It is listed at 224 S Geddes St, Syracuse, NY 13204, which places it among the local businesses of Syracuse that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Wilson Dental Pc at (315) 423-9900; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 1,367 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had a very disappointing experience at Wilson Dental in Syracuse. I arrived 18 minutes late because there was an accident on the road that caused an unexpected delay. I understand that the office has policies regarding late arrivals; however, my main concern is the way I was treated. The front desk employee, who identified herself to me as Meia, was not friendly or helpful. I politely asked what options were available, whether another provider could see me, or whether there was any other way they could assist me. Instead of trying to help or clearly explain my options, I felt dismissed and was not provided with useful information or assistance. I was not asking for special treatment. I simply expected to be treated with courtesy and professionalism and to receive reasonable assistance in understanding my options. Customer service matters, especially in a healthcare setting. Even if an office cannot accommodate a late patient, there is still a respectful and professional way to communicate that. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Meia at the front desk, and I left the office feeling very disappointed with how the situation was handled.

I brought my granddaughter in today to have a broken bracket fixed, and after reading so many negative reviews about this place, i was a little worrisome to bring her in. Iβve had both good and bad experiences here over the years. In my opinion, it really depends on which dentist you end up seeing. I understand why some people have complaints, but I also think itβs unfair that the hardworking and kind nurses that seem to get lumped into those reviews. The young ladies who helped us today, I believe their names were Rosie and Kaydance β¦ were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. Rosie explained everything she was doing while taking X-rays and pictures, she got us in very quickly and effenciantly and was overall a very sweet young lady. kaydance explained everything she was doing, made my granddaughter feel comfortable. She wasnβt afraid to ask the other assistants questions to make sure she was doing everything correctly. Some people might see that as inexperience, but I see it as someone who cares about doing the job right. Iβd much rather have someone double check than make a mistake and send us home with a bigger problem. Every one weβve interacted with has been caring and res

Made an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed and had to get seen by a consultant to be put to sleep because this is the only place that accepts my insurance after doing this and scheduling the appointment when I come in to get this procedure done they are trying to take all four of my wisdom teeth instead of the two that I had to consultant for the people are OK but their policies and how they treat people are garbage the trashcan in the operating room that I was in had the lid underneath it and it was filled with dirty debris. The only thing they gave me for two impacted wisdom, teeth removal was Tylenol with codeine and that isnβt doing anything I had to go to urgent care to get real medicine because of the fact that I am in such severe pain I would not recommend them to anybody if you have to go there try and find somewhere else beforehand. To summarize this dental office very rude does not explain things well not to mention they called me 3 days before the procedure to tell me I canβt smoke marijuana and they said it had to be there for a minimum of 5 days without it . They gave no heads up and donβt communicate well either

Veryβ¦ interesting experience. I went here for my wisdom teeth removal. My first visit for consultation I was in and out quickly, and they were able to schedule me for surgery quicker than any other place I had called. For surgeries, itβs apparent that they schedule patients by telling you a random appointment time, then youβll wait for your surgery however long it takes. I was scheduled for surgery at 4pm (got there at 3:45) and waited in the waiting room until 6, until I was called into the room and surgery started shortly after 6:30. By the time surgery was over, my escort was alone in the waiting area, as staff was mopping the floor around her. Multiple people I sat with in the waiting area had waited several hours for their surgeries as well. Unfortunately, Wilson Dentalβs main issues include confusing scheduling and wait times, and difficulties with reception. I was told to call a week after my extractions to schedule a follow up. When I did, I had to go through their extensive menu options, transferred over to the surgery department from reception, then had to leave a message when no one answered. Two weeks later and I still havenβt received a response back, when they have bo

As many others stated, this is the only place that took my (3) kids insurance. The kids always went back together and because my daughter was quite young they always had me come back too, so I got to see it all. The man who "cleaned" their teeth was very nice and I'm sure did what he was told, but I definitely wouldn't call it a cleaning! After fights with x-rays, they looked at the teeth, polished them, and maybe used floss. No scraping of plaque or anything like that. The place was dirty and in great need of some simple repairs. My teenage sons have never had issues with their teeth so I wasn't too concerned. But my daughter has had several cavities and crowded teeth and is in the most need for regular dental care. While we were there, she had to go in twice for cavities/fillings. They will not allow parents to go back for that, which is when it is most needed. She hated it!!! The last appt we were at, the provider saw the 2 boys but then had something else "come up" and never came to see me daughter. They said I need to schedule another time to bring her in just to get checked and they scheduled it for the first day of school, which was a no go since I'm a first year t
